Yoga of 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR)
Sundays 6-8pm beginning Sept. 8th
The Yoga of 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR) combines the practical tools of the 12-Step Recovery Program with the ancient wisdom of yoga.
Combining the two creates a model that truly addresses addiction as the physical, mental, and spiritual disease that it is.
Y12SR is a 12-Step based discussion and yoga practice that is open to anyone and everyone dealing with their own addictive behavior or affected by the addictive behavior of others. This is an open and inclusive group. All A's are welcome. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
Wear comfortable clothing. Meetings are by donation.
Led by Amy Newland - Y12SR will meet at Exhale Yoga Studio on Sundays from 6-8pm.

Mind Body Balance
Sunday, September 8th at 1pm
Mindfulness is a skill that everyone possesses but becomes easier with practice! In this class, students learn about the many benefits of mindfulness, engage in mindful exercises, participate in a guided meditation and receive healing reiki energy to balance the mind-body-soul. Students learn how to create a deeper sense of relaxation through breath work and bringing awareness to their thoughts, feelings and environment.
Allie Edwards-Jones will be leading this class. Allie began practicing mindfulness and meditation to manage anxiety, which she has struggled with her entire life. Since making mindfulness and meditation part of her daily lifestyle, she has experienced an improved sense of overall well-being. Allie earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Ball State and continued on to earn a Masters Degree in Social Work from Indiana University in 2016. She is a Licensed Social Worker, Reiki Master and is certified in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Through her professional experience and personal mindfulness practice, she discovered her passion for assisting others with balancing the mind-body-soul.

Yin Yoga Series: Chakras
Begins Monday, September 9th
8:30pm - 9:30pm
Yin Yoga uses fewer poses, moving very slowly from posture to posture, holding each shape for an extended period of time. Our bodies are treated gently, which allows the student to access deeper connective tissue (fascia) and joints.
Many of the postures focus on areas that encompass joints such as hips, sacrum, and spine. Yin Yoga is a wonderful way to develop and maintain flexibility and internal awareness.
This series will be incorporating the 7 chakra energy centers, each week focusing on a different chakra.
This 7 week series, led by Nikki Caudill, begins September 9th and meets each Monday from 8:30pm - 9:30pm through October 21st. This class is perfect for the late evening, calming the mind and the body to relax for sleep.
Yin Reiki - 2nd Fridays
The 2nd Friday of Each Month
6:30pm - 7:45pm
Join us for an evening of deep release and relaxation with Yin Reiki. This combination of natural, holistic healing techniques aim to promote, restore, and improve physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. Yin yoga is a passive, yet at times intense, stretching and nurturing of the connective tissues (tendons, ligaments, and fascia) around the bones, joints, and muscles. This manipulation and stimulation of the connective tissue increases overall flexibility and mobility, releases deep-rooted energies, and fosters mind and body relaxation and meditation. Yin postures consist mainly of floor poses, supported with props, and held for 3-5 minutes; encouraging the practitioner to dive inward on a physical and mental level.
In the stillness of the yin postures, Nikki will act as an open channel of Reiki, and through gentle touch will stimulate one's own body's natural ability to heal itself, physically, emotionally, mentally and energetically.
Reiki is a hands on, ancient Japanese method of natural healing, stress reduction, and relaxation based on the concept of universal life force energy. Energy travels throughout the body in meridians in the connective tissue. When one's energy is flowing well, health, vitality, and peace are more likely to occur. Yin with Reiki helps unblock the flow of energy in the channels of the body, bringing balance, healing, and overall wellness to the mind, body, and spirit. With our energies in balance, we can experience ourselves and the world around us, with more openness, love, compassion, and gratitude.
This gentle, meditative, healing practice is appropriate for students of all fitness and experience levels. Yin is a great compliment to a more vigorous workout routine, such as vinyasa yoga, running, CrossFit, cycling, etc.
Yin Reiki will take place on the 2nd Friday of each month from 6:30 - 7:45pm. Regular class packages, single class drop-ins, or monthly memberships apply.
