Yoga is for every body! In these 1 hour sessions, students are guided through a gentle yoga flow from a chair. Using a chair allows individuals of all ages and abilities to participate and enjoy the many benefits of a yoga practice. Yoga helps to increase mobility, strength, balance, and coordination, which are important to maintaining vitality and independence as we age.
Hot Yoga is a vigorous vinyasa yoga flow in a room heated to approximately 95 degrees. Vinyasa is a series of flowing movements that are synchronized with the breath. The breath acts as an anchor to the movement as you flow from one pose to the next. Please bring water and a towel and be prepared to sweat!
Restorative yoga allows the practitioner to linger in supported positions, promoting relaxation. The class will concentrate on breath, gentle movements, and stretching. There are many health benefits to this slower practice, especially stress relief. This class is appropriate for all levels.
Stress Relief Yoga
This one hour Stress Relief Yoga class begins with breathing exercises to calm the body and mind. The class then transitions to gentle, flowing movements to relax the nervous system before moving into some restorative postures (poses held for longer periods of time, often using props) and ends with a deep savasana. Take some much needed time for YOU. Appropriate for all levels.

Class begins with some light stretching then works into a flowing series that includes sun salutations, balancing poses, and variations on inversions. A diverse combination of postures cultivating both strength and flexibility. The class ends with gentle stretching and Savasana, final relaxation. Appropriate for all levels.
Warm Yoga is a vinyasa style yoga class performed in a room heated to approximately 85 degrees. Vinyasa is a series of flowing movements that are synchronized with the breath. The breath acts as an anchor to the movement as you flow from one pose to the next. Please bring water and a towel. Appropriate for all levels.

Why Hot Yoga?
Practicing yoga in a heated room is invigorating! It helps us detoxify our bodies through sweat. A warm room can also help open up areas of tightness by allowing the muscles to relax and stretch. Please be sure to take rest as needed and hydrate before, during, and after class!
